This is absolutely not your typical Côtes-du-Rhône. Housed in same terroir as the greatest Southern Rhone producer, Chateau Rayas, by tasting it wouldn't be a surprise. Grenache in this style ROCKS, pure fruit and energy. You'll find raspberry, cherry and with a little air blackberry and liquorice evolve. Bang.
