Jean-Paul Brun 'Le Ronsay' Beaujolais 2018

Jean-Paul Brun is an old school natural producer, so old school that he predates the term 'Natural wine'. His wines are some that inspired the genre. This single vineyard is his 'young vines' cuvèe and it really over delivers.

The fruit GLOWS in this wine. It's so aromatic you can smell it in the next room. Rhubarb, strawberry and mushroom. Clean, vibrant and life giving. This is proper Beaujolais and I won't believe anyone that says they aren't a fan.
