Franck Balthazar ‘Cuvèe Casimir Balthazar’ Cornas 2015

Franck Balthazar is one of the only truly organic and natural producers in the region and, without sulphur, produces some of the most vibrant wines in the region. He ferments with whole-clusters, wild yeasts and ages in old (5 years and older) large barrels, much like other greats in the region. Richly flavoured, but not heavy. Blackberry, black olive, green peppercorn with a frame of classic Cornas minerality. Singing.
